UX Writer / Content Designer (Mid level)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and thoughtful UX Writer / Content Designer to craft clear, engaging, and user-centered content across our digital products. In this role, you will work closely with product designers, product managers, and developers to shape the voice, tone, and narrative within user experiences. Your words will guide users, simplify complex interactions, and bring coherence across the product ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

• Create concise, user-focused copy for UI components such as buttons, menus, tooltips, error messages, notifications, onboarding flows, and product walkthroughs.
• Develop content strategies that support user journeys, product goals, and design principles.
• Collaborate with UX designers, researchers, and product teams to understand requirements and craft human-centered content solutions.
• Participate in user research, content testing, and usability studies to validate and iterate on copy.
• Maintain and evolve the product’s voice and tone guidelines to ensure consistency across platforms.
• Write and refine content for web and mobile interfaces, product documentation, and help resources.
• Use data and insights to make content decisions and support design recommendations.
• Ensure content accessibility, clarity, and inclusivity following best practices.
• Work within design tools (Figma or similar) to embed content directly into wireframes and prototypes.
• Review and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain content accuracy and quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• 2–4 years of experience in UX writing, content design, product writing, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and user-centered content practices.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and helpful microcopy tailored to specific user scenarios.
• Experience working with cross-functional product teams and design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
• Familiarity with user research methods and content testing approaches.
• Ability to adapt tone and voice based on audience, context, and product needs.
• Understanding of accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and inclusive writing practices.

Preferred (Good to Have) :

• Experience in SaaS, B2B, or consumer-facing digital products.
• Knowledge of information architecture or content modeling.
• Experience with localization and writing for multilingual products.
• A portfolio showcasing UX writing samples, content design case studies, or product writing examples.
